Really, this is a must have in anybody's collection. That feeling of satisfaction that it caused in me is so hard to describe.

And then, I cleared my first K-level - those crazy K-levels. until I got to a certain level and said "oook, I was wrong there too". Contrary to others, I was not impressed by the music. I started the game being a bit sceptical, but that did last just a few minutes. I found this jewel - which I bought just for my summer holidays out of Game Boy nostalgia. When I thought nothing could make me love 2D platformers anymore, when I thought I will never be able to like 2D platformers on TV, when all that happened. First time ever it happens to me with a platformer. This is how good I feel about this game, and why you should try it. If a Wii U owner wants it they can get it so what does making it just slightly harder to come by accomplish?Īnd there are already several Wii U-to-Switch ports and I don't recall any of them being discontinued from the online store. It has been a very, very long while that I played a game and not only I said "I love this game" (which I say a lot) but I also said "and It has been a very, very long while that I played a game and not only I said "I love this game" (which I say a lot) but I also said "and objectively, what a freaking masterpiece this is". In North America, the Wii U version is only available in retail, as the downloadable version was taken down from the Nintendo eShop, shortly before the release of the Nintendo Switch version. The game is also plentiful in the used market. The downloadable version of the game requires approximately 11.3 GB of free space on the console. It seems to be a pretty easy game to find a physical copy of so this is just discouraging one specific type of sale. And if you really want this for the Wii U there I still see tons of copies at my local Wal-mart.

If the Wii U game sales were a serious threat to Switch sales then the Wii U would have been successful enough that a new Nintendo console probably wouldn't have come out yet in the first place. The whole reason all these Wii U games are getting re-released is because they're like new games for most of the Switch userbase. Having any sort of concern about a Wii U game affecting Switch sales is silly since it's actually pretty hard to get a Wii U these days and hardly anyone owned one when it was current.
